When I first started creating art in the 1980’s I was amazed at how everything had a name, Op Art, Kinetic Art, Pop Art, Conceptual Art. Found Art was my favorite. I was a little put off by it. How original are you, if everything you do, every art piece you create has already been done to the extent that it has a name? As a catholic and original sin, I was looking for the origin of original, the first sin; to do something that hadn’t been done before or to find the first time when what I was doing had been done?
